Teri Balser, CALS Associate Professor of Soil Science, has been named Dean of the University of Florida’s College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. Balser has been a faculty member in UW-Madison’s department of soil science since 2001, and since 2008 she has directed the Institute for Cross-College Biology Education. She is also a member of the UW-Madison Teaching Academy and has received numerous awards for her efforts to improve undergrad education— most notably, last year she was one of four professor across the nation to be named U.S. Professor of the Year.This entry was posted in Milestones, Highlights by .
