Benefit Services in the Office of Human Resources at UW-Madison offers Pre-Retirement Workshops designed for employees age 50 and over. The current workshop covers information on how your retirement benefit is calculated, annuity options, health insurance, and accumulated sick leave credits. They have recently expanded the topics included in the pre-retirement workshop so that participants will leave with the tools needed to estimate their retirement benefit by using the ETF (Employee Trust Funds) calculator and a checklist of steps to take once an individual makes the decision to retire.
Benefit Services has scheduled a session in CALS:
- Wednesday, May 25, 2011
- 2:30 to 4:00 p.m.
- 6201 Microbial Sciences Building
- To register for this session, send an email indicating your intent to attend, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you require an alternate date/time, pre-retirement workshops are held monthly at 21 N. Park Street. Go here to register for an alternate date/time. Additional CALS sessions will be scheduled as requested. This entry was posted in Business Services & Payroll, Human Resources, Workplace by bjackson6. Bookmark the permalink.
