Kiwanis International honors Stan Temple for work on behalf of endangered species

Professor Emeritus Stanley Temple (Forest and Wildlife Ecology) received the Kiwanis International Conservation-Environment Award “in recognition of extraordinary work helping to restore endangered species, protecting critical habitats and bringing the scope and magnitude of the extinction crisis into clear public focus.” The award was presented at a meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Downtown Madison on April 18.
