The American Council on Germany is currently seeking applications for our 2011 McCloy Fellowship in Environmental Policy. The fellowship provides American and German environmental professionals and academics with the opportunity to travel across the Atlantic for roughly three weeks to conduct research of their own accord. Fellowships are for up to 21 days. Fellows receive a stipend of $200 per day which covers housing, meals, and local transportation costs. Transatlantic roundtrip airfare and pre-approved intercity travel are also covered by the program.
The fellowships are intended to support professionals in the public, private and nonprofit sectors who are engaged in environmental policy, journalism, and law, as well as those in academia who are undertaking research that bears significance for environmental policy in the United States, Europe and beyond.
The 2011 call for applications is attached to this email as a PDF and is also pasted below. We would appreciate if you would pass this call for applications on to colleagues in your circles or in the wider environmental community who you feel might be good candidates for this program.Research by .
