Stan Temple honored by The Wildlife Society

Stanley Temple, Beers-Bascom Professor Emeritus in Conservation in the Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology and the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies, has received The Wildlife Society’s second highest honor, Honorary Membership, in recognition of his lifetime achievements. His career in wildlife ecology and conservation spans 40 years, 32 spent at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the faculty position previously held by Aldo Leopold and Joseph Hickey, both of whom also received the award.
