UW Foundation launches new website, new Campus Access link and more

You may have noticed that the UW Foundation recently changed its web address, e-mail address and launched a new website:

The new domain name,, reflects the Foundation’s important partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison in a concise way, while the new website creates a strong visual tie to the University.

The website offers an array of new features and content that we hope you’ll find interesting and useful. Of particular interest is the new Campus Partners section of the website ( It provides an introduction to the UW Foundation for everyone who works on campus and, especially, for those who interact with the Foundation. You will find general information and the answers to many of your specific questions such as “How do I request a check?” or “How much do I have to spend?”

On the site, you’ll also find:

If you use the Foundation’s Campus Access or Web Strategy applications, please take note of their new addresses and update any bookmarks you may have created:

If you have “custom links” into our online giving application, those too have changed. The new format is:

Simply replace the “1234” with the sequence number that was previously provided to you by the Foundation.

I hope you’ll take a few minutes to look through the new site. We’re thinking of it not as a finished product, but rather as a starting point and a new platform for us to communicate with our friends and partners.

If you have questions or comments regarding the new site, please send them directly to Dan Treuter, our director of web and multimedia: You also can follow the Foundation at or
