Injectable seasonal flu shots will be offered at a number of campus
locations next week.
Seasonal flu vaccine is particularly recommended for those over 50, those
who have chronic medical conditions, or are pregnant. It is also advised
for anyone wanting to reduce the chance of getting seasonal flu.
All campus clinics will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Dates and locations are:
–Monday, Dec. 7: Grainger Hall, 975 University Ave., Room 310
–Tuesday, Dec. 8: Medical Sciences Center, 1300 University Ave., Room 2010
–Wednesday, Dec. 9: Waisman Center, 1500 Highland Ave., Room 120-122
–Thursday, Dec. 10: Welcome Center, 21 N. Park St., Room 1106
–Friday, Dec. 11: Ingraham Hall, 1155 Observatory, Room 103

Please note, H1N1 vaccine will not be available at these clinics. Because
H1N1 supplies continue to be limited, they are being offered only to those
in targeted groups.
Faculty and staff who are pregnant, who live with or care for infants less
than 6 months of age, are 24 years of age or less, or are between the ages
of 25 and 64 with chronic medical conditions, can make an appointment to
receive an H1N1 vaccination through their personal healthcare provider or
through one of the clinics sponsored by Public Health Madison Dane County.
