Forum showcases ideas to build better administative processes and systems

You are invited to attend the next Administrative Process Redesign (APR) Campus Forum.

Wednesday, October 14
2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Lowell Hall Dining Room

Please join us as the process redesign teams tell their stories about how they implemented campus-wide process improvements this fall. APR is now in its third year and making steady progress in leading a broad-based campus effort to build better administrative practices and systems.

This year, APR began to undertake significant, large-scale redesign projects to improve the university’s research and grant process. One of these redesign project teams, the Awards Set-Up team, is presently implementing over 20 process improvement solutions which should reduce the time for award setup by 80 percent. This means that researchers will be able to manage the financial aspects of their grants almost immediately after the notice of the award. Several other research administration teams will also be present to discuss their progress and share their findings to-date.

All university staff are invited and may attend without loss of pay. Staff should make arrangements with their supervisors before attending. No registration is required. This campus forum will also be video streamed and viewable from the APR website at <> using Internet Explorer and Windows media player.

Lowell Hall is located at 610 Langdon Street. The Route 85 campus bus stops in front of the Pyle Center located just a block west of Lowell Hall.

The Route 80 campus bus stops at the Memorial Union just a few blocks west of Lowell Hall.

One of the three goals of APR is to engage the campus in an inclusive and transparent project so that all stakeholders are involved. Campus forums are a sign of our continued commitment to achieving this goal.
