All new CALS employees asked to attend Sexual Harassment Workshop

CALS supports the UW-Madison’s commitment to improve our campus climate and enhance the quality of our environment for work, teaching and learning, research and customer service. The university’s Sexual Harassment Information and Resources Project is an ongoing effort to heighten campus awareness about sexual harassment issues and to increase our effectiveness in addressing this important concern. The initiative includes the presentation of sexual harassment informational sessions to all academic, administrative and service units.

As part of our College’s proactive approach to create a positive environment for all individuals, CALS has scheduled four informational sessions. All employees who were hired in CALS after the last Sexual Harassment Workshops (October 2008), or have not previously attended a workshop, are required to attend. To register, please visit The Office of Human Resource Development website, Click on “Catalog” at the top of the page, and then select the “Sexual Harassment Information Sessions” entry from the Course Catalog list. You will need your NetID and password (the same NetID and password that is used for My UW, or to get parking).

If you have any questions please contact Tonya Messer (tmesser@cals.wisc.edu) or Pam Arnold (parnold@cals.wisc.edu).
