In case you think that working in the CALS administrative offices is all peaches and cream, think again. Sometimes it’s cookies and cream. Recently, a few members of the CALS communication staff were pressed into the onerous duty of beta-testing a potential new product of the Babcock dairy store: chocolate-chip-cookie ice cream sandwiches. Development of this confection is a project of the CALS Food Science Club. Sales of the sandwiches would help raise funds for the club. Indications are that the sandwiches will probably go on sale. The CALS communication staff, however, argue for a go-slow approach. They feel that more testing is needed.
