Do your students need funding for their summer internships?

Two generous gifts allow CALS to offer students financial support for their summer internships. Please pass this information on to your students.

The Spitze Legislative Internship: Students working as interns with the Legislative branch of government could earn $1,000, or more, per semester. The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences is pleased to announce the Robert and Hazel Spitze Legislative Internship Program. This internship/scholarship opportunity is designed for students with an interest in public policy and helps student interns experience the unique processes of the State or Federal Legislature. For more information, students should contact John Klatt (jklatt@cals.wisc.edu).

Ethel Allen Memorial Fund: Through a gift from the Allen estate, CALS Career Services can provide financial support to students completing internships this summer. If you have students completing 399 credit who need financial assistance for housing, travel, living expenses, tuition, or forgone wages please have them contact John Klatt (jklatt@cals.wisc.edu) for more information and an application. CALS Career Services will award students $250 – $1000, and awards are made on a rolling basis until funds are used.
