The CALS Student Council and CALS & Friends One-A-Week Club will host a blood drive during CALS Week. Please show your support for our community and make an appointment to blood between noon and 5 p.m .on Monday, April 27 at Jorns Hall. To make an appointment, go to the Appointment Scheduler on the Red Cross website (http://www.membersforlife.org/midamerica/mobilesch/bdc_sc.php?id=1) and enter sponsor code 1568 or call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE (1-800-448-3543). Walk-ins will be taken if space permits and refreshments will be provided to donors.

Not sure you are eligible to donate? In general, people who are healthy, at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, have not donated whole blood in the past 56 days and have not donated double red cells in the past 112 days are eligible to donate blood. If you have specific questions about medical conditions or recent travel that might affect your eligibility to donate, please contact the Red Cross at 1-800-GIVE-LIFE.
