Grassroots community development leader Sharon Adams will give a talk entitled Building A Sustainable Neighborhood in the Inner City: The Case of Milwaukee’s Walnut Way, on Thursday, April 16 at 4:30 p.m. in room 5120 Grainger Hall. Adams, who is  a member of the CALS Board of Visitors, co-founded Walnut Way Conservation Corp., a community development organization serving Milwaukee’s Central City neighborhood. Adams will also be having an informal talk with graduate students, April 17, 12:30-2:30, 208 Music Hall. She was invited to campus by the Department of Urban and Regional Planning.
