Please visit and participate in the new Grow magazine website
CALS has just published a new edition of Grow magazine, and we’re not just talking paper. In conjunction with this month’s mailing of the spring issue, we’re also rolling out a new online version. We strongly encourage you to visit www.cals.wisc.edu/grow and try out the many new features. The new site focuses heavily on user participation, with opportunities to discuss the stories online and share them (via email, Facebook, Digg, Delicious and Google bookmarks), to generate links to related stories, to search for content using tags, categories, full-text search, and to view stories that are “most popular” or “most discussed.”
In addition to being a new online presence for Grow, the new website will also serve as the model for a full-scale revamping of the CALS web presence. So your feedback will help us not only improve the Grow site, but also guide us as we redesign eCALS, the CALS home page and much more.
The new site represents hard effort by Vidal Quevedo, the College’s new manager of online communications, as well as editor Michael Penn, designer Diane Doering, new media specialist Don Stanley and other members of the CALS communication team.
