Through March 23, 2009, Drexel is accepting nominations for the inaugural $100,000 Anthony J. Drexel Exceptional Achievement Award, which will go to a scholar, scientist, engineer or clinician in the United States whose innovative translational research—academic work that tangibly translates into intellectual progress and social good—pushes the frontiers of biomedical engineering and related life sciences. The first Anthony J. Drexel Exceptional Achievement Award will be presented at the second annual Translational Medicine Alliance Forum, May 13-15, in Philadelphia.
