Lecture on worldwide issues related to wetland conservation – March 25
Noted wetland ecologist Max Finlayson will present a lecture titled “Wetland Conservation and Management: Worldwide Issues, Conflicts and Synergies,” on Wednesday, March 25, at 4 p.m., 2650 Humanities Building. Finlayson is Professor of Ecology and Biodiversity and Director of the Institute for Land, Water and Society at Charles Sturt University, Australia. The event is sponsored by the International Crane Foundation, Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies, Wisconsin Wetlands Association, Madison Audubon Society, Land Tenure Center, UW Arboretum and the Conservation Biology and Sustainable Development Program.
