Recycle creatively in 100-hour Wiscontrepreneur Challenge – Feb. 18-22

The 100-hour Wiscontrepreneur Challenge is a fun, exciting and creative contest open to all students currently enrolled at UW–Madison or any other accredited two- or four-year institution in Wisconsin. The contest challenges students’ entrepreneurial skills to create the most valuable, innovative or socially beneficial product or service — using materials from UW SWAP (Surplus with a Purpose). Contestants have 100 hours to take their best shot at doing something entrepreneurial from Wednesday, February 18 to Sunday, February 22. The winner for each of the following categories will receive a $300 cash prize:

  • Most value (money) generated
  • Most social value generated
  • Most creative

In addition, a $100 “People’s Choice” prize will be awarded to the contestant whose entry is accessed/viewed online by the most people.
