A prize-winning 2008 Partners in Giving campaign
The 2008 Partners in Giving campaign has come to an end, and we would like to thank everyone who participated and helped make it a success. Following are the units that received this year’s prizes:
- Environmental Resources Center — basketball autographed by Bo Ryan for highest percent participation
- Bacteriology — 4 hockey tickets for largest number of contributors over 2007
- Food Research Institute – 4 hockey tickets for the largest percent increase over 2007
Our totals for this year were $82,223 from 355 participants. This represented a contribution increase of $6,200 from 10 fewer participants when compared to last year. While this is certainly appreciated, it only represents a 17 percent participation rate, which was disappointing because we want to emphasize just being a contributor over the size of the donation.
Thank you again to all. Your support is appreciated by the many organizations that are part of this campaign. A special thank you goes out to the individuals who coordinated the campaign in each of the CALS units.
