Simple steps can increase your safety on campus

Crime and safety continue to be serious concerns for our campus and city. Although a victim of crime is never at fault, there are simple steps you can take to raise your awareness and decrease your vulnerability. One step is to be aware of the latest information about campus crime and safety resources. Please take a moment to visit to view UW-Madison’s 2008 Campus Safety Report. The guide has been redesigned in order to make it easier to read and use. It contains information about a wide range of safety-related topics along with crime statistics. Also, I encourage you to visit our new campus safety website .

Printed copies of the annual report can be downloaded as a PDF file directly from the web, or can be requested from the Offices of the Dean of Students by calling (608) 263-5700, or in person at 75 Bascom Hall.
