On Jan. 15, 2009, CALS and a number of Wisconsin agricultural organizations will present the 2009 Agricultural Outlook Forum. This is the second time the college has offered this afternoon-long discussion, in which UW-Madison specialists review the financial health of the state’s farm sector and the current status and outlook for commodities important to the state. The public is invited, and the event will be simulcast to county UW-Extension offices and other sites throughout the state. The forum will coincide with the release of the 2009 edition of “Status of Wisconsin Agriculture,” published by the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics. Details on exact time and location will be announced later.
