More than 350 CALS alumni and friends gathered at the UW Field House on Sept. 6 to support student scholarships and WALSAA (Wisconsin Agricultural and Life Sciences Alumni Association) activities. More than $4,500 was raised to support the new Wisconsin Rural Youth Scholarship Initiative. Adding that to what’s been collected to other ongoing efforts, over $30,000 has been raised for the recently launched new scholarship initiative. In addition, WALSAA raised more than $8,000 in the silent auction and raffle. This figure will be matched by the UW-Foundation.This entry was posted in Uncategorized by jsindelar.
