The Politics of State Funding for Higher Education – Sept. 23

WISCAPE’s schedule of fall forums and conferences begins with a September 23 discussion on The Politics of State Funding for Higher Education. Four higher education scholars will present new research exploring the role played by state political contexts and coalitions, among other factors, in determining state funding for public colleges and universities. All sessions will be followed by ample opportunity for questions from the audience. The forum runs 9:15 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. in Grainger Hall, Room 4151. This program is free and open to the public

WISCAPE, the Wisconsin Center for the Advancement of Postsecondary Education was established in 2001 on campus to study the challenges confronting postsecondary education while bringing together key stakeholders to discuss issues and solutions.
