New medical research center opening Sept. 4

Join the School of Medicine and Public Health for the grand opening of phase one of the Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research. The program and ribbon-cutting celebration begin at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 4, 1111 Highland Avenue. Reception and tours begin at 1:30 following the ribbon-cutting.

The grand opening acknowledges the first phase that will eventually grow to three towers dedicated to moving new discoveries from the laboratory bench to patients’ besides and out into communities.
