Efforts underway to draft emergency operating plans
CALS departments and selected centers have made significant progress in Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) — an effort to draft a blueprint for how we will react to and recover from emergencies. The COOP Project kicked off this summer and phase II of the project should be completed by the end of September. When that’s done, we will begin to work with units on a plan to recover back to normal operations. This planning process is scheduled to continue well into the next academic year, and then it will be modified based on what’s learned during performance testing.
