SciMed Research Scholars offers opportunities for underrepresented grad students

The Science and Medicine Graduate Research Scholars (SciMed GRS) Program is a new program that has been established to enhance the experiences and opportunities of underrepresented graduate students in CALS and the School of Medicine and Public Health. The program encompasses more than 35 departments and graduate programs and works to build community and facilitate recruiting efforts of under-represented minority students in the biological sciences. Advanced Opportunity Fellowships for CALS and SMPH are now awarded through the SciMed GRS Program and the program provides resources to students including professional development opportunities and community gatherings of the graduate scholars.

SciMed GRS staff and/or Advisory Committee members will be attending the following recruiting events. If you would like SciMed GRS share any of your graduate program materials at the following recruiting events, please contact SciMed GRS Coordinator, Abbey Thompson.
