New professional development courses for teachers and natural resource specialists
The Wisconsin Teacher Enhancement Program announces new professional development opportunities for science teachers and natural resource specialists. These include the following online and field-based courses at the UW-Madison.
- Trees of the Upper Midwest – a 2-week online and field course, Aug. 11-24: Learn how to identify our native tree species!
- Field Methods for Ecological Inquiry – a 3-week online and field course, Sept. 22 – Oct 12: Learn methods for field sampling and data collection for ecological research.
- Rainforests and Coral Reefs online course, Sept. 29 – Dec. 12: A virtual exploration of the world’s most diverse ecosystems with up-to-date science to bring to your classroom.
Cost per course = $79. Earn up to 2 UW credits for each course at additional cost.
