Update on Administrative Process Redesign project – July 23
All faculty and staff are invited for an update about the Administrative Process Redesign (APR) project on Wednesday, July 23 from 2 – 4 p.m. in Room 1800, Engineering Hall.
APR is a broad-based campus effort to build better administrative practices and systems. Please plan to attend this forum to learn how APR has begun to develop more efficient ways for campus to conduct its day-to-day business.
Teams which were formed last January to work on six administrative processes selected for redesign are excited to report their findings and solutions to campus! A question and answer session will follow the team presentations.
These six process redesign teams have completed their Lean Six Sigma training, presented their data and proposed solutions to their project sponsors, and received their approval for implementation.
All university staff are invited and may attend without loss of pay. Staff should make arrangements with their supervisors before attending. No registration is required. This campus forum will also be video streamed and viewable from the APR website at http://www.vc.wisc.edu/apr using Internet Explorer and Windows media player.
The Route 85 campus bus stops just east of Engineering Hall across from Union South located at N. Randall and W. Johnson streets.
The Route 80 campus bus stops a few blocks east of Engineering Hall at Mills and W. Johnson Streets.
One of the three goals of APR is to engage the campus in an inclusive and transparent project so that all stakeholders are involved. Campus forums are a sign of our continued commitment to achieving this goal.
