Association of Women in Agriculture — a 35-year-old group UW-Madison group that provides housing and networking opportunities for women students — has embarked on its Shaping Lives Campaign, a fundraising effort to help manage the costs of their 15-year-old house near campus and to build funds for scholarships offered through the UW Foundation.

AWA’s mission includes providing:

• Networking opportunities and a 24-person living unit that make school fun, shape lives and provide the basis for lasting friendships.
• Educational and leadership opportunities to prepare women for careers and life.
• Service projects and mentorhips that set a lifetime expectation of giving back.
