URPL program ranked 6th by industry practitioners

Practioners in the urban planning industry ranked the UW-Madison’s Urban and Regional Planning program 6th among 100 planning programs in the United States and Canada, according to a survey conducted by Planetizen, an industry website, in collaboration with the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning. The program was ranked 13th by educators and 17th by Planetizen editors (their criteria included faculty size, facilities, and student financial aid, so the UW-Madison didn’t fare as well as more resource-rich institutions).
