The UW-Madison student chapter of the National Agri-Marketing Association and the Department of Life Sciences Communication are joining together for a Celebration of Excellence on Tuesday, April 29, 6-9 p.m., on the second floor of Hiram Smith Hall, 1545 Observatory Drive. Both groups are celebrating milestone anniversarys this year — 30 years for the Badger NAMA chapter and 100 years for Life Sciences Communication (established in 1908 as the Department of Agricultural Journalism).
Join the NAMA students and LSC in a celebration recognizing 30 and 100 years of academic excellence. Enjoy food and refreshments, a short program and a silent auction, the proceeds from which will help fund NAMA student chapter events and travel to the annual national marketing team competition. The recommended donation for the event is $25 per person. The program starts at 6:45 p.m. For more information, call (608) 262-1463.
