The UW-Madison police department has developed a one-hour presentation, “Avenger Violence Awareness.” The program provides information on how to identify warning signs of a person in crisis, what to do if you have concerns about behaviors, violence as a process, phases of mass casualty shooters, and what to do in the event of an active shooter incident. In particular, department chairs and building administrators are strongly encouraged to attend.
The sessions will be offered on March 26, March 28, April 14 and April 16.
If you would like to schedule a presentation for a group of faculty, staff or students in your department or building, contact Sgt. Tamara Kowalski at 262-9971 or firstname.lastname@example.org
