WISPER (the new routing tool) is now LIVE. The tool replaces the hard copy Transmittal Form and should be used for electronic routing. For information on the system, training, and to log in, go to

Note: WISPER will be used for routing ALL proposals, agreements, and awards. The system can be used as a search tool for status information*, and will be the front-end tool for capturing information/data to be transferred into PeopleSoft Grants as awards are finalized.

* Data previously available in PALS (RSP’s Proposal Tracking System) has been converted into WISPER, so you can use WISPER as a search tool to help in determining the status of proposals, agreements, and awards by individual, department, etc. The data which was converted includes all pending, created after 7/1/07, and updates with funding status changed after 7/1/07.

Unrestricted gifts will now need to route under a “new” routing form specific for gift checks. The form is available on the RSP forms page at
Hard copy routing is required of this form with checks for deposit — it does not include an electronic routing option.

Please know that this new form is still under development. The site is interactive and will be enhanced further by RSP over the next several weeks. In order to take full advantage of the tool, a minimum of Adobe Reader version 7 is required, but RSP is strongly recommending version 8.1.2.

Note: “New” unrestricted gift accounts will be assigned “233” project numbers. For the current time, if you are making an add to a current gift account, designate the 133 project number.

3) Routing Checks

4) Deposits to Trust Funds
We are pending information from Trust Funds and will provide that as soon as we have it available.
