Cory Geiger, member of the CALS Board of Visitors and an alum of the college (degrees in dairy science and agricultural economics) has been elected president of the Wisconsin Holstein Association.
Geiger, of Mukwonago, was installed as the organization’s new leader during the Wisconsin Holstein State Convention last weekend in Dodgeville.
Geiger is the associate editor of Hoard’s Dairyman Magazine. His editorial travels with Hoard’s has taken him to 43 states, as well as Canada, Mexico and New Zealand. He also has bred a four-generation cow family with 1.2 million pounds of lifetime milk at his family’s Ran-Rose Dairy Farm in Reedsville.
