Nick Balster, assistant professor in the Department of Soil Science, has been selected as a 2008-2009 Wisconsin Teaching Fellow.
The Wisconsin Teaching Fellows Program is designed for outstanding early career untenured faculty and teaching academic staff who show exceptional promise as college teachers. Nominees must be interested in studying teaching and learning issues in depth, in examining career and classroom-related issues of particular concern to teachers new to the profession, and using the principles of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning to structure their work.
Wisconsin Teaching Fellows are selected from University of Wisconsin System faculty and academic staff in their first six years of college teaching who display strong potential to become outstanding teachers. This entry was posted in People and Departments, Recognition by jsindelar.
