BIO2008, the global biotechnology convention, is accepting applications for educational sessions. The deadline for submitting a session is Friday, Sept. 7 by 4:00 p.m. CST.
The sessions are for moderated panel discussions only and some suggested topics include Bio energy, Food and Agriculture, Bioethics, Biopreparedness/Emerging Diseases, Business Development, Clinical Research/Clinical Trials, Devices and Predictive Diagnostics, Doing Business Globally, Drug Discovery and Development, Emerging Company Issues, Finance,
Global Health, Growing the Biotech Workforce, Industrial and Environmental, Intellectual Property/Legal, International Seminars, Manufacturing, Policy, Public Relations/Investor Relations, Regenerative Medicine, Regulatory, Technology Transfer/Licensing, Other.
Basic session requirements are to provide title, a three or four sentence description, three session objectives, the name of the session chair, and names of the panel speakers. Panels must include at least three speakers with the stipulation that only one panel member be from the same organization. The application is filled out online.
