Summer training sessions for LTEs seeking permanent positions

LTEs are encouraged to attend an informational session on how to pursue permanent state civil service jobs, which will be offered a total of nine times in July and August.  Each one-hour session will cover a variety of topics, including where to look for jobs, understanding job announcements, applying for a position, different exams types and what happens after an exam.

LTEs may attended on paid work time with prior approval from their supervisor. Please see attachment for dates and times, and to register. Please note that two of the sessions will be presented in Spanish. The presence of a Hmong translator can be arranged upon request.

This training helps the university reach one of its new LTE Policy goals: to provide education to LTE employees on how to pursue permanent positions.
