Dean Jahn will be in Antigo on March 27 as part of an effort to connect with alumni about the UW-Madison. Dean Jahn will be speaking and listening at the UW Alumni Club of Antigo’s 2007 Founders’ Day Celebration. Founders’ Days celebrations are held every year, from January through May, and are sponsored by the local chapters of the Wisconsin Alumni Association throughout Wisconsin, across the country, and around the world. Most Founders’ Day events feature a dinner or reception, a presentation by a prominent UW-Madison faculty member, and other fun, fundraising, and/or educational components. WAA’s Founders’ Days commemorate the first class held at UW-Madison, taught by Professor John Sterling on February 5, 1849.This entry was posted in Uncategorized by jsindelar. Bookmark the permalink.
