Each year, the UW-Madison campus selects one Wisconsin Teaching Fellow (WTF) and one Wisconsin Teaching Scholar (WTS), who undertake projects reflecting the scholarship of teaching and learning and attend several system-wide programs for professional development.
The WTF Program is designed for outstanding early career untenured faculty and teaching academic staff who show exceptional promise as college teachers. WTS is designed for tenured faculty and teaching academic staff who are exceptional teachers who serve as resources and role models, and who contribute their expertise and leadership publicly. CALS has in recent years been well-represented in both programs.
Fellows and Scholars each receive $4,000 in financial support and a $500 S&E grant from OPID. Nominations must reach Peyton Smith in the Office of the Provost, email@example.com by Wednesday 24 November. For more information:
