Share STEM activity at 4-H Science Fright Night on Nov. 6
CALS is invited to participate in the annual 4-H Science Fright Night on Thursday, November 6 at the UW Space Place from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Each year, 4-H and community partners share hands-on STEM activities with youth in grades K-12. This year, they are adopting the WI Science Festival Theme, Rock and Roll – music, motion and geology. Activities can follow the theme or just be STEM related.
Last year, the event hosted 11 community partners and 16 hands-on activities for youth in grades K-12. About 100 youth attended with their family members. There is no official program, youth walk from station to station throughout the hour.
If you are interested in participating with a fun, hands-on activity, contact 4-H Extension Educator Lisa Curley at curley.lisa@danecounty.gov or (608) 224-3702.
