This past weekend, the college celebrated its spring and summer 2025 graduates at commencement and the CALS graduation celebration. Families, friends, students and staff from the college honored graduating students at a celebration at Allen Centennial Garden on Saturday morning amid sunshine and comfortable temperatures. Graduates had the opportunity to take photos with Bucky and Dean Gillaspy.

After the CALS celebration, students and their families made their way to Camp Randall for the official UW–Madison commencement ceremony. There, more than 48,000 people cheered on nearly 9,500 graduates earning bachelor’s, master’s and law degrees. The night before, celebrations filled the Kohl Center as more than 900 Badgers earned graduate and professional degrees.
