Upcoming open houses and resources provide information about Workday
Employees have the opportunity to join Workday Open Houses at upcoming campus events:
- Administrative Professionals Conference: Wednesday, April 9, 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Union South, Alumni Room.
- Showcase 2025: Thursday, April 17, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Union South, room TBD (check Today in the Union or TITU)
All UW–Madison employees are welcome to drop in for the open houses; registration at the events is not required to participate. The open houses will offer a self-guided, hands-on preview, allowing employees to explore their Workday home page, find their pay slips, update tax elections, explore time and absence functions, and more.
Staff from the Administrative Transformation Program (ATP) and Administration Innovation and Planning (AIP) teams will be available to guide employees through employee and manager self-service, provide information about upcoming training resources and answer any questions.
Additional Workday resources for all employees:
- Administrative Transformation at UW–Madison website: This site serves as the central resource for UW–Madison-specific information about the transition to Workday.
- The Workday 101 Lunch & Learn recording provides an overview of Workday’s home page, navigation, and common tasks for both employees and managers. (Please note that Lunch & Learns are not formal training sessions. Formal training for all employees will be scheduled before Workday goes live.)
- First look at Workday: Get a look at Workday before official training begins.
