Dean Gillaspy to moderate panel of CALS experts at Crossroads of Ideas: Wisconsin’s Role in Shaping the Future of Agriculture – Oct. 14

As part of the Wisconsin Science Festival, Dean Glenda Gillapsy will moderate “Crossroads of Ideas: Wisconsin’s Role in Shaping the Future of Agriculture” on Oct. 14 at 7:00 p.m. The panel discussion will feature four CALS researchers helping establish Wisconsin as the leader in agricultural advancement and innovation: Julie Dawson, Randy Jackson, Rebecca Smith and Shawn Conley. The session will take a deep look into the innovation and tradition of Wisconsin agriculture and the opportunities and challenges we face at the leading edge of sustainable systems. Heather Gayton, CALS outreach program manager, will host the event, which will take place in the Discovery Building at 330 N. Orchard St.

This is a free event, but registration is requested to ensure adequate seating.
