The West Madison Agricultural Research station is open to researchers today following a fire in a hay shed on Friday. The building and its contents have been deemed a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation by officials.

“Thanks to the excellent response of the Madison Fire Department and UWPD the fire was contained to just the hay shed structure.” says Research Station Director Mike Peters.  “The good news is that no one was injured and that we can start working on the recovery today.”
