“Technical to Beautiful: Data as Art” exhibit showcases work by plant pathology’s Solís-Lemus

The Illuminating Discovery Hub is hosting “Technical to Beautiful: Data as Art” through October 1. This exhibit showcases seven artists, including assistant professor of plant pathology Claudia Solís-Lemus, with projects ranging from 3D-printed eigenfaces to weaved representations of resilience. Other artists are Danielle Burke, Ben Kizaric, Hailey Louw, Shichen Qiao, Zhaoxing Wu, and Clementine Zimnicki.

Sponsored by the Data Science Institute, the exhibit is open to the public 7:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. weekdays and 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Saturdays in the Hub Central Gallery, located at the west end of the Town Center in the Discovery Building.
