Register now for instructor-led RAMP Training Courses
Registration is now open for the Instructor Led RAMP Training Courses! To register for the courses, please access the OHRD registration system here: http://go.wisc.edu/redregistration. Some sessions may have a waitlist, but more sessions may be added to accomodate high demand.
All courses will be offered virtually in Zoom and will include a live demonstration and hands-on exercise for participants to practice using RAMP. We are prepared to add additional course dates if necessary and each course will be recorded and made available for on-demand learning later this spring/summer. We encourage you to register for the training courses provided and are looking forward to seeing you!
Instructor Led Course Details:
There are 6 RAMP courses that follow the award life cycle. We strongly suggest that if you are interested in taking multiple RAMP courses that you do so in the order below.
- RAMP Funding Proposals – Step 1 – Overview and SmartForm
- RAMP Funding Proposals – Step 2 – Budget Development
- RAMP Funding Proposals – Step 3 – Federal Submissions SF424 (Grants.Gov)
- RAMP Award Setup
- RAMP Award Management and Modifications
- RAMP Agreements
In the Funding Proposal Courses, Step 1 you create your RAMP funding proposal, in Step 2 you go back to your RAMP proposal record to create your budget, and in Step 3 you go back to your RAMP proposal record to create your SF424.
In addition, understanding the Funding Proposal in RAMP will help you better understand Awards and Agreements.
