Partners in Giving campaign underway

Partners in Giving—the State, University, and UW Health Employees combined campaign of Dane County—has begun and runs from October 11 to November 30, 2021. The campaign, now in its 48th year, is an opportunity for UW, UW Health and State employees to positively affect people’s lives by providing much-needed support to the essential services and charitable work of more than 500 local, state, national and international organizations.

Last year, CALS employees raised almost $59K to contribute to the overall campaign, which raised over $2.1 million in total.

In 2021, the Partners in Giving campaign theme is “Make an Impact!” Truly, any contributions to the campaign do exactly that and make an impact in the lives of those in our communities and beyond.

Participants are encouraged to make their pledges online, though  if e-pledging doesn’t work for you, there is a way to contribute using paper forms sent through the mail. Learn more about all of the ways you can give here.

We are happy to resume our incentive drawings this year, which were put on hiatus last year due to circumstance of the pandemic. Those that make an online donation or turn in a pledge form will have their name entered into drawings to win prizes, including but not limited to free slices of Ian’s Pizza, vouchers for free scoops of ice cream from the Chocolate Shoppe, the Wisconsin Union, and University Housing, an autographed Green Bay Packers football, and tickets to the Madison Comedy Club, the Madison Mallards, the Milwaukee Admirals, and UW Men’s and Women’s Hockey. Please donate early for your best chances to win an incentive!

If you have questions, visit giving.wi.gov or contact your department/unit volunteer or the college’s Partners in Giving chairs, Therese McHenry.
