10 CALS sophomores honored by WALSAA
The Wisconsin Agricultural and Life Sciences Alumni Association (WALSAA) recently named 10 Outstanding Sophomore Award winners for 2012. Students will receive a $2,000 scholarship to be applied to their 2012-2013 tuition expenses. They also join an elite group that represents the “who’s who” in the UW science and agriculture communities. If you see these students around campus – congratulate them on a job well done!
There were a total of 66 applicants, 22 interviews and 10 awards for 2012. Students can apply as an individual or receive nomination from their academic department.
