11th Annual UW–Madison Postdoctoral Research Symposium – Sep. 25

The 11th Annual UW–Madison Postdoctoral Research Symposium will be held on Friday, September 25, in the Discovery Building. Organized in honor of National Postdoc Appreciation Week, the symposium offers a venue for UW–Madison postdocs to share their work with others, foster new collaborations and make social connections.

In addition to professional development sessions and networking opportunities, the symposium includes a Blitz Talk Competition and a Poster Competition to showcase postdoc research in all disciplines. This is an excellent opportunity to share work and hone research communication skills. Competition winners will receive substantive travel awards.

Blitz Talk Competition – Abstracts due Friday, July 31

Blitz Talk presenters will deliver a 5-minute research talk during the symposium to engage a general audience. Notification of acceptance will be sent in late August. Submit your abstract here.

Poster Competition – Abstracts due Friday, August 28

Poster presenters will bring a poster highlighting their research to present during the symposium. They may use new or existing posters and present research from either their current or previous positions. Notification of acceptance will be sent in early September. Submit your abstract here.
