Participate in the Administrative Quality Satisfaction Survey (AQSS) Apr. 8–24
The following email was sent by John Zumbrunnen and Robert Cramer on Apr. 7.
To all UW-Madison faculty, staff, postdoctoral, and graduate assistant employees:
Tell us how we can improve administrative services including Communications, Facilities, Human Resources, and Research Administration, so you can do your job more effectively. We highly encourage all employees to complete the survey.
You will get an email from Provost Zumbrunnen and VCFA Cramer with a unique survey link. (Please do not forward the email. Every employee gets their own link.)
Take the Administrative Quality Satisfaction Survey:
- during your work hours, on paid time
- in English, Spanish, Chinese, Hmong, Tibetan, or Nepali
- over multiple sessions; start the survey, save your answers, and finish it later
- on a computer, on a smartphone, or at a campus InfoLab
The AQSS survey:
- is confidential
- does not affect budgets or evaluate employee performance
- helps us improve campus processes for customers and providers of administrative services
- supports investments in resources, staffing, employee training and development, and more
Survey findings capture examples of great work taking place across campus, as well as areas that need focus and improvement. The survey results will also provide valuable metrics for administrative improvements at UW–Madison.
Survey results will be shared with the campus community and used by leaders across campus to help improve administrative processes and increase operational excellence, exceed faculty and staff service expectations, help drive decision-making, and align administrative actions to support the university’s long-term institutional goals.
Learn more about the AQSS at finadmin.wisc.edu/aqss. Please contact adminqualitysurvey@vc.wisc.edu with questions, suggestions, or requests for support.
UW–Madison has partnered with HelioCampus, a third-party organization, to distribute the survey and keep your responses confidential. HelioCampus will not share your identity with UW–Madison unless there are legal reporting requirements related to harassment, abuse, or threat of harm.
Thank you for helping us make UW–Madison a great place to work.
