Bucky’s Varsity Meats offering lamb and smoked hams in April
For the month of April, Bucky’s Varsity Meats is featuring fresh lamb and smoked hams produced on site.
Choose from cuts of bone-in and boneless lamb leg, ideal for roasting in the oven or marinating and grilling when spring weather cooperates.
- Bone-in leg of lamb: $14.50/pound (averaging 4-8 pounds)
- Boneless legs: $16.50/pound (averaging 3-6 pounds)
- Racks o’ lamb: $28/pound (averaging 1.5-2 pounds)
- Boneless lamb shoulder roasts: $14.50/pound (averaging 3-5 pounds)
Their bone-in smoked hams are fully cooked and ideal for warming up in the oven or slow cooker. Finish with a favorite glaze.
- Hams, sold in halves: $2.65/pound (averaging 5-9 pounds)
Bucky’s Varsity Meats offers high-quality meat products produced through teaching, research and extension programs. All meat products are produced under USDA inspection on-site, creating hands-on experiences and training for students in every step of the process.
The Bucky’s Varsity Meats storefront is located on the UW–Madison campus in the lobby of the Meat Science and Animal Biologics Discovery Building at 1933 Observatory Drive.
